Shanghai Duomu Industry Holds 2026 Mid-Autumn Team-Building Event in Anji
As part of its 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations, Shanghai Duomu Industry Co., Ltd. brought employees together for a two-day, one-night trip to Anji, Zhejiang Province, on September 25–26, 2026. The program combined outdoor activities with time to share a meal, unwind and spend time together away from the usual workplace routine.
The itinerary included kayaking at Anlan Lake, a self-service barbecue and campfire evening, hiking at Canglong Baipu Scenic Area, and rafting at Longwang Mountain. With a mix of relaxed and more active activities, the trip offered a simple opportunity for colleagues from across the company to connect in a different setting.
Kayaking at Anlan Lake
The trip began at Anlan Lake, where the team took part in a group kayaking activity. After getting ready and receiving guidance from the activity staff, employees headed onto the lake together.
The pace was easy at first, giving everyone time to settle into the activity. Keeping the boats moving in the same direction naturally called for coordination, especially when people were paddling together for the first time. Colleagues who normally meet around projects, production work or office tasks had a chance to talk and interact in a much more informal setting.
It was a straightforward start to the trip: fresh air, a change of scenery and a few hours spent doing something together outside work.
An Evening Around the Grill and Campfire
After kayaking, the team returned to the accommodation area for a self-service barbecue. Meat, seafood, vegetables and other foods were prepared for the evening, with employees sharing the preparation and cooking before sitting down to eat together.
There was no formal agenda for the evening. People talked about the day, shared stories and caught up with colleagues they do not always see in the same context during a normal working week.
Later in the evening, everyone gathered around the campfire. It was a quieter end to the first day and, for many, one of the most relaxed parts of the trip.
A Morning in the Mountains at Canglong Baipu
The second day moved from the lake to the mountains. The team visited Canglong Baipu Scenic Area and spent the morning walking through the natural surroundings, with mountain paths, streams and waterfalls along the route.
The hike was unhurried. Some team members stopped for photos, while others continued along the trail and enjoyed the scenery and conversation. Walking together also meant keeping an eye on the group and helping one another when the trail became more demanding.
For the team, the value of the morning was less about the distance covered and more about simply having time together in a different environment.
Rafting at Longwang Mountain
After lunch, the group headed to Longwang Mountain for the final activity: rafting. Before entering the course, everyone followed the staff’s safety instructions and put on the required equipment, including life jackets and helmets.
Once the rafts were on the river, the pace picked up quickly. Fast-flowing sections, turns and changes in the course kept everyone engaged, and the shared effort made the final afternoon lively from start to finish. There was plenty of laughter along the way, as well as the occasional splash that left no one completely dry.
The rafting session brought the outdoor program to a close. After two full days, the team wrapped up the trip and prepared to head back to Shanghai.
Connecting Beyond the Workplace
The Anji trip brought together employees from different roles across Shanghai Duomu Industry. Away from day-to-day responsibilities, there was more room for informal conversations and shared experiences — whether on the lake, along the hiking trail, around the barbecue or on the river.
That kind of time is a small but useful part of company life. Collaboration at Duomu depends on people working across different responsibilities, and opportunities to get to know one another outside the usual work setting can make those working relationships more familiar and more personal.
The 2026 Mid-Autumn team-building event was not a formal business activity. It was simply two days set aside for the team to step away from the routine, enjoy the outdoors and spend time together.
Back to Work with Shared Memories
After the trip, the team returned to Shanghai with photos, stories and a shared experience from Anji. For Shanghai Duomu Industry, activities like this are part of maintaining an open and connected working environment alongside the company’s day-to-day engineering and manufacturing work.
The two-day trip came to an end, but the team returned to the regular work schedule with a few new memories to take with them.
